Celebrating the best young creative talent in the UK.

“I have always enjoyed looking at the magazines that my aunt used to bring home from abroad, it was the colours in the photos, the texture of the paper and the idea of creative freedom which caught my eye first, and this (almost subconsciously) led to what I do now. I’ve always loved playing with my dad’s camera and this finally resulted in taking my first black and white pictures of my best friend. They might have been not exposed properly or focused, but for the first time in my life I felt like this is what I was supposed to do. A few years later I moved to England and what was supposed to only be a gap year turned into my second home. I went to Manchester College, studied towards a BTEC Award in Photography for two years, and it was there that my tutor said I should carry on my studies and go to university. So I did, I was accepted onto a course at the University of Bolton and it has been the best 3 years of my life.” (via Fashion Photography with Karolina Hubner)
