Celebrating the best young creative talent in the UK.

“Lili-Marie Boutique was first created shortly after I finished my second year at university. I launched my unique brand on Facebook in July 2010, and the social networking site acted as the perfect platform to showcase my work to friends, family and others with an interest in fashion.Lili-Marie La Touche focuses on incorporating art into garments. When designing, I think about how I can enhance the silhouette of the person wearing my designs, whether it be subtly or voluminous. I create theatrical pieces, as well as everyday pieces. I have always had an interest for fashion, which is why I decided to expand my knowledge of the industry further and study fashion and textiles at university.First, I completed a two-year Foundation degree in Fashion and Textiles at the London Metropolitan University. I then went on to study a BA (Hons) in Fashion at the Plymouth College of Arts and graduated last year with an upper second class honours degree. During my time at university, I took an interest in architecture. I paid close attention to the framework, structure, shape and details, and decided to incorporate the architectural elements within my garments. I researched and experimented with textile manipulations and pattern cutting to get a real sense of architecture within my designs.” (via Lianne of Lili-Marie La Touche Boutique)
