Celebrating the best young creative talent in the UK.

“I’m heavily influenced by childhood, often using materials you’d find in a primary school to draw. Crayons, glitter and cheap felt tip pens are my particular favourites. I like to write lists continuously and have quite the catalogue now, including “Characters from Neighbours I’d like to meet.” That list has two names on it, Harold Bishop and Dr. Carl Kennedy. I draw phrases that come to my head or that form parts of funny stories or that I overhear on train journeys. It’s the mundane, fleeting nature of things overheard or thought of that inspires me. I like to record these so they don’t get lost.” (via Design & Illustration by Sophie Roake)
